Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job

Reporting to Director, Electronic Gaming, Assistant Director, Electronic Gaming is responsible for the operation of the electronic gaming function and the supervision of all electronic games operations and electronic gaming technology personnel. Assist roll out and oversees the preventative maintenance and repairing of all electronic gaming machines and ensures that documentation regarding removal, and replacement of machines, along with record retention of machine settings and payout schedules, is completed accurately

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Managing team of Operations Manager, Supervisors, Attendant and Ambassadors, with a close working relationship with Casino Technicians and related departments.
  • Building an environment where team members have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, fostering a harmonious workplace where they be recognized for their consistent contribution towards attaining departmental and company goals.
  • Develop, implement and monitor electronic gaming policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the goals and objectives of the casino.
  • Develop strategies to create service levels designed to expand guest attendance and increase electronic gaming profits.
  • Develop, implement and monitor a Department budget. Understanding and documenting reports monthly as to any variances.
  • Develop and structure department operational goals and objectives, enforce organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain on-line records of all slot machines, determine slot machine mix, pay out percentage and locations to maximize electronic gaming revenues.
  • Monitor and manage service levels through analysis of reports and follow through.
  • Work closely with Marketing Department in the establishment of electronic gaming promotions programs which are unique, exciting and revenue, profit generating.

  • Establish internal operating procedures with Surveillance and Security departments and any additional safeguards as necessary to protect casino assets, customers, employees and property.
  • Establish outstanding customer relations with guests.
  • Establish and maintain an effective business relationship with vendors.
  • Manage the electronic gaming operation to meet financial and operational goals and objectives.
  • Provide direction, support and training to all electronic games staff to achieve the highest standard of customer service.
  • Assist in the design and configuration of the casino electronic gaming floor in an effort to maximize the financial

Job Requirement

  • At least five (5) years of Electronic Gaming Management experience; or, ten (10) years’ experience working with, or in, sophisticated electronic games operations, including operational experience in strategic management of electronic games operations.
  • Ability to make judgments and decisions regarding guest and employee complaints.
  • Ability to analyze and develop time lines, project resources, monitor and evaluate results.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write reports and maintain electronic games files and employee schedules.
  • Ability to develop and implement training needs for employees and casino members.
  • Knowledge of Casino operations
  • High School Degree, College or University Degree in related field preferred, from an accredited institution, and/ or equivalent work experience.
