Job Description

Scope of Position:

  • This position is responsible for managing the daily operation of the Hoiana – Quang Nam Tourism Vocational Training Centre and support the Training activities within the Hoiana project.
  • This position will be the bridge between Hoiana, the concerned Departments/Operators and the Quang Nam College of Arts, Cultuer and Tourism (ACT) as well as other Training Provider.
  • All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of Hoiana Management property. 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

At the Hoiana – Quang Nam Tourism Vocational Training Centre:

Be responsible for the daily opreation of the Training Centre including:

  • Coordinate with concerned Departments/Operators to plan for training courses at the Centre including enrolment, recruitment, training and post-training activities in coordination with ACT.
  • Coordinate closely with ACT for daily operation of the Centre.
  • Manage the administration tasks related to the Centre include but not limited to routine payments, Training Contract etc.
  • Collect and manage Trainee’s profile in coordination with ACT, Trainers and Training Providers.
  • Coordinate with concerned Departments to ensure the benefits of Trainees at the Centre, include but not limit to training allowance, meals, uniform, transporation etc.
  • Regularly check and supervise the facilities at the Centre, notify the management and coordinate with concerned parties for maintenance.
  • Supervise the montly procurement of the items required for the operation of the Centre.

At Hoiana:

Support the Training activities at Hoiana including:

  • Support the facilitation of training and development efforts throughtout the entire property.
  • Support to develops activities/curriculum to enhance standardized training programs.
  • Design and produce training aids (i.e. case studies, simulations, games, exercises, etc.) and support materials.
  • Assist Department other HR operations of mass training, mass recruitment, employee relations.
  • Directs the internal and external placement activities for Hoiana Management to include university, colleges.
  • Coordinate, negotiate and administer all sourcing/training agency relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between Hoiana Management and other property such as Suncity, Rosewood in which they operate to generate interest and strong relationship for the training courses.

Other Duties:

  • To comply with all standards of performance, behaviour, and operational policies and procedures in place.
  • Participates in appropriated internal and external activities to enhance prestige of the Company.
  • Performs other relevant duties as directed by the management.

Job Requirement

  • Good listening, reading, speaking, writing skills
  • Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential
  • The ability to introduce a wide variety of reference sources
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
  • Knowledgeable in training assessment, design, delivery and evaluation preferred
  • Experience in hospitality and hotel industry is preferable
  • Excellent in communication, presentation in both oral and written
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is required
  • Strong human resources creative, staff events and people influence skills
  • Working in Quang Nam.
